Today we celebrate our fifth year wedding anniversary! And there are so many things we want to thank God for.
We are blessed to be surrounded with people whose hearts are to see us flourish, succeed and grow further in our walk together as husband and wife.
Here are the following people whom we really believe have helped us in a lot of ways during the first five years of our marriage:
- Papa and Mama—their wealth of wisdom, their being great examples (they’ve been married for 43 years now!) as well as their emphasis on the importance of family, spouse and kids are all valuable insights we would always remember
- Nanay (Ava’s mom)—all the years of her love, support and care for us and her grandkids
- Pastor Rey and Ninang Menchie—they’ve been out of the country most of the time, but we value so much the wisdom you imparted to us when we were just starting out on December 2004. We want to emulate the way you’ve raised up your kids who all love God..
- Pastor Marc and Ate Rizel—aside from being the pastoral oversight when we were still singles, both of you also taught us the virtue of living a life of purity. Thank you so much for being our spiritual covering.
- Pastor Gilbert and Cathy—thank you for your all-out support, the genuine love and care your showed in all the years you’ve served Victory U-Belt
- Pastor Noel and Maryjune—thank you for your non-stop encouragement. We learn a lot as well when we simply observe you as you raise up five beautiful kids in your home
- Pastor Chinkee—thank you for your Biblical insights on finances. It has saved us from making more woeful decisions…
- Ate Emy and Ate Jane, you may have been away to work in London, but each time you’re here in Manila for a vacation, we see to it we take the time to fellowship with you and learn from your wealth of knowledge and experience as well as see you live out your faith for the Lord
And for everyone else who have imparted something to us in our first five years, thank you so much…!
Honey, life has been wonderful with you at my side. You’ve been my best friend, all these years, my encourager, the person who reminds me who I am in Christ when I’m down…I love you!
