David’s First Try To Eat On His Own

Posted on Friday, October 16, 2009 in Family

David is turning two this coming November 20.

Since his birth nearly two years ago, Ava and I have been anticipating and have seen the many “firsts” of David.

david cuteHis first smile, his first word(s), his first cry (which was the first thing he did by the way when David was born in 2007), his first giggle, his first bottle of milk when the breast milk couldn’t keep up with his amazingly huge appetite, and many more.

Well, this video, meantime, shows his first attempt to becoming “independent” (as if he can finally be free from us, hehe).

Being a very observant boy, David always wanted to grab his own spoon, have his own plate and chomp the food during mealtime.

In this case, we gave him the liberty to eat pancit canton when we took him out for a merienda-all-you-can-eat at Kamayan recently.

Bea Sings Song From The Sound Of Music

Posted on Friday, August 7, 2009 in Family

Bea seems to have a love for old but certainly legendary music.

Just like one of the songs sang by Julie Andrews in the classic movie Sound of Music.

Watch and listen as Bea tries to imitate the incomparable Julie Andrews…

David Munches Birthday Cake For the First Time

Posted on Saturday, August 1, 2009 in Family

David likes cakes a lot. And because he wanted it badly, we let him sit at the lap of our helper (which he doesn’t normally do when he eats, because he sits at his high chair during meal time).

So with a spoon in his hand, he starts chomping on his chocolate mousse as if there’s no tomorrow. Here’s how David looks like as we celebrate Ava’s birthday.
